Does not work with interior

Ford Explorer will not start, lock and unlock doors but the programming to start the car will not work at the locksmith or dealership where it cannot be programmed

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Expensive

Nice update for boring buttons

Make sure you do yourself a favor and do your research before you think about buying these buttons. Because my locksmith reprogrammed the new key chips because they weren't compatible with my 2014 Ford Mustang, I had to pay quite a bit of money for new chips.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some bugs

Works, but I'm not sure the flip was worth the effort.

I had to remove the pin to fit the car on ace hardware. I had to severely damage the pin to be able to pull the pin out as it was stuck. Cut and programmed with forscan. Works perfectly. Too bad it came with a logo to cover the hole on the back.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Appearance

Works perfectly, didn't have to remove the key to cut.

the keys were cut out by a locksmith on site. Used forscan program and obd2 adapter here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S7W14X9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for immobilizer programming. Then I programmed the key fob last. I had no problems but it took several hours. This product works great 100 percent and I have bought two.

Pros

Cons
  • low maintainability

The car compatibility list is clearly wrong

They are supposed to fit a 2010 Lincoln Navigator. You are not. I paid to have them cut and then the dealer couldn't program them. The remote control seems to work fine, but the chip is not compatible with the ignition. The seller offered to take them back but I've already paid to cut them and try to program them. I'm also not comfortable with a key opening my door when I give it back. Very disappointed. They have red accents by the way, not the silver ones in the picture.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Easy to program if you already have 2 working car keys.

To program the key fob you need to unlock the car, close all doors, turn the car on and off 8 times without starting the car. If you have done everything correctly, the doors will be closed and unlocked and you will be notified that you are in the car key programming mode, then click "Unlock". on the key fob and then remove the original key to exit programming mode. Now to program part of the key you have to cut the key out of the car, this can be done at Home Depot or Lowes for either free or…

Pros
  • Solid surface
Cons
  • Damaged
