Much cheaper than at the dealer!

Professionally made and works great! Cost $80 for 2 keys that need to be cut and programmed and they included programming the key fob too! Much better than the dealer who would have charged $500 for everything! $30 Key and Fob + $80 Programming = $110 Saving $390!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Doesn't work for XTerra, low quality

The black part is made out of cheap plastic that doesn't fit well and feels inferior. I took it to a locksmith and after he sharpened the key it didn't work with my 2008 XTerra. He was using one of his keys and it worked, so it wasn't a hardware fault on the part of the locksmith.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Lots of things

The key worked. I paid the auto mechanic $70.

The key worked. I paid an auto mechanic, I think $70, to cut and program it, but it was a lot less than going to a dealer. I found another locksmith across town that does it for $40. So in my opinion it's worth the hassle of ordering a key, finding a locksmith and skipping a dealer.

  • Decent performance

Poor quality, does not work as described.

Poor quality, case keeps opening. Cannot be programmed to my 04 quest. Sequence shows programs but my van won't start. Original key without defects. Some chip readers show it working and others not at all, just like a regular key. It's a good spare key to at least unlock my van when I lock my good keys inside. Otherwise it is a useless key.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some bugs

Transponder key rip-off. Update

The key is not programmable, does not start, poor metal quality. I will disassemble it to see if there is a chip in it. Negative (-5 stars) speaks for itself, no pictures needed! To update; I took it apart, it was a small rectangular object that looked like carbon that had come loose from the adhesive on the key itself. Assembled the body and cut the key for use as a manual door key. Now the "chip" just hangs in the plastic part of the key, but it works 😳. For now . Metal is still cheap.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Little things

Fantastic product: Interior

Works like a charm. I took it to the auto zone first which just confused them so I took it to a locksmith (what the manual says) so if only I had followed the instructions. Anyway, I digress. The guy programmed the keys for me, it took about 30 minutes, these are Nissan transponder keys and he said they are strong because Nissan has a very good security system. Keys typically cost around $80 each. And you still have to program them. So that's $230. I got two keys from these guys for about $20…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I have no dislikes for it, everything is fine

Excellent investment. - First.

This key was incredibly easy to use so I decided not to pay the $200 dealer and called a private locksmith to my house. $75 and five minutes later all my keys were recoded. I'm glad I have this because after a few moves I'm only left with one set of keys. Great investment I initially liked this product but after 6-7 months the truck wouldn't start. Then it started after a few minutes, then after half an hour and then after an hour. I ended up taking the car to a Nissan dealer. They ran…
