It has a high price compared to other options of a similar nature, but the quality is terrible; It will become unusable after less than two months of use, so you should avoid buying it.

I used this clasp on a paracord loop for a flashlight while running. If I accidentally drop the flashlight, the magnet keeps a loop around my list, but if I drop my hand it detaches: just what I want.

The magnet has become detached from one of the two halves of the item. I tried to stick it back on, but it quickly peeled back the same day. I have a plastic one. Perhaps a metal magnetic connector will hold in place better, but do yourself a favor and avoid the plastic connectors at all costs.

I bought 2 packs. It looked great, the magnet was strong and seemed durable. It took 2 months and the magnet came loose on one end. The case turned out to be cracked...good thing I bought 2 packs. I started using the second one after 1 and 2 months, the case cracked on it too and the magnet fell out. Nice concept, just not a long-term solution for me. I got this keychain thinking it was made out of the same material as smart keys. It is made of plastic and two magnets. I don't like the piece of plastic that attaches a $200 car key to my pretty smart key. I sent it back the same day. For $10, this should be aluminum, not plastic.

The magnets are strong. 2 out of 3 the magnet pulled out. Both were on my most used items. Apparently the plastic case is cracked too. I expect the 3rd will do the same soon. I'll try to save them with some good super glue to put the magnet back in. If you do this, make sure your magnet polarity is correct.

Adequate strength magnet. Strong enough to hold together but can be torn apart with reasonable effort. I use them to hold two gloves together. Ideal.

The plastic parts keep the magnet cracked after a few months. The adhesive holding the magnet in place has also worn off, making it nearly impossible to use. The build quality can definitely be improved.

I put a pepper spray on my dog's rent. Pepper spray is very, very light. The magnet broke several times. He did it again today but we didn't hear the pepper spray drop now that the pepper spray is lost. We bought this product for a quick release as pepper spray release is absurd. Does this magnet in the photo shown hold a lot of keys? What if the weight of the peppers is less than the total weight of the two keys? Would not recommend this product.

I was concerned that it would turn itself off too easily if pushed around in a briefcase or glove box. As long as it holds up well.

It was pretty handy, but I've since replaced mine with a mechanical latch. The glue holding the magnets together in the plastic cover broke after about 3 months and the magnet came out. Although the coating itself was thick enough to easily hold the magnet inside, it no longer supported the weight of my keys.

We used it to hold a bunch of keys to get into our garage or apartment foyer. This allowed my husband to keep the car running while opening the garage door.

Worked great at first. Easy to use. Super light. Did what I needed. Then he collapsed. A magnet does not remain in the housing. My keys kept falling off and I almost lost them. I fitted a second one and it did the same thing almost immediately. I wouldn't buy this product again if they didn't fix this problem.

I like the idea and it will work fine for stationary keys. But if you carry your keys in your pocket every day, it won't work. They disassemble fairly easily in your pocket and end up with the magnetic ends sticking to the keys themselves. For keys that are used less often, I think this works great.

I used this MagConnect to attach an emergency whistle to my EDC bag. I put the bag back in the car after the Costco run and found the whistle gone; only one end of the MagConnect remains. Will be ordering a higher rated Magconnector to replace this one.
