I HAVE REALLY FOUND A GREAT USE FOR THIS PRODUCT I BOUGHT TWO SETS and both sets pulled the magnet out of the black plastic mount on one side; strong magnets. had to use super glue to reattach the magnet and hold it in place.

The second purchase - the first took a while, but the magnet fell out of the plastic case. I pasted it again but in reverse order so the polarity is wrong. doh!

These magnets are SUPER weak. They fall off at the slightest impact. I had my house key on one of them, at some point it fell off and I had no idea. Avoid at all costs gave me a big headache.

Put your house keys here so I can run fast without parking my jeep. It's easier to take keys without fiddling with carabiners. Keep keys safe, they don't just come loose on their own, they come loose so quickly and easily when you want them to.

In short, I have several cars, but I didn't want to have all those bulky keys in my pocket. I ordered 3 of these and installed one side for the keys I need every day and the other side changed my car keys. Reduced volume and now I can keep all my keys together.

The glue holding the magnet in place will loosen and push the magnet out. Don't make the mistake of inserting the magnet the wrong way round as you won't be able to pull it out again.

If you ever drop your keys, expect this thing to fall apart. It even fell apart when thrown in my purse. Currently looking for half my keys because at some point during my drive today it went offline and half my keys are missing.

The first day after receiving the device, a magnet was not seated in its half of the device. When disconnected, a small magnet stuck to another magnet on the other half of the device. You can reattach the magnet on the other side, but it will do it again. All that holds it together on one side is the rigidity of the plastic cylinder body and I'm pretty sure the holding power of the plastic wears off. I can't trust him to keep valuable keys. Smart idea, bad result. Useless.

It's garbage. I bought the one with the slot and the magnet. I thought it was metal. It is not. It's a hollow plastic shell and a small magnet. With very loose tolerances, it slips apart too easily. i give it back

The magnets would be strong enough if the glue would hold. I almost lost my anniversary. This is the only thing attached to the ring.

This updated model doesn't fall apart if I don't want it, and if I do, it will be very easy and quick. This is exactly what I was looking for as the person who gets out the key to their 2015 car on winter days to start the car but still has to lock the door behind me on the way out.

Love the design but very poor quality. This is my second in 2 weeks. After a few days of regular use, it broke and the magnet came loose. Save yourself the hassle and get one made of metal.

I bought this to replace the clip I was using but it's a lot worse. You can't just separate them blindly. You have to look at it to see how to press it. And the sticking is even worse. Not only can you reattach it blindly, but even if you look at it to reattach it, the magnets will oppose each other. You either have to move it painfully slowly or try multiple times until you get the result you want. Not worth the price and headache. Better use a cheaper 3lb magnet than this engineering…

I ordered three packs and two out of three broke within a week. Save your money, the glue holding the magnet in place is probably elm because it has no power at all.

I wear this every day. After about 9 months, the plastic broke so that both magnets could be pulled out. I sealed one end with epoxy and now the other end is torn and pulled out. I wish the magnets had been glued in place when originally made instead of having to pour epoxy on them.

I've ordered similar products in the past that were at least twice the size of this one, so I was expecting them to be larger. Not sure if this very small magnet will hold my keys or anything securely without breaking or getting lost. I am very disappointed in them. I don't think the magnet is strong enough to hold a bunch of keys.

The plastic has cracked on the side of the "plug" magnet and now the magnet pulls out when disconnected. All after maybe 30 connections/disconnections.
