This is small. Obtain. fits screwdriver

Without a doubt, Klein makes the best tools. Made in the USA and very reliable. I'm notorious for using any screwdriver as a chisel and ruining the finish. Bought to keep me from ripping my other tools. The only problem is that it's too beautiful to meet!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The Perfect Slotted/Slotted Screwdriver

Somehow all of our slotted screwdrivers have disappeared. We still had spline bits for use with a drill or an interchangeable screwdriver handle, but they're useless for borderline activities like prying or chiseling. So this screwdriver perfectly fills a gap in our tool collection! I give it an 11/10 because it's so good even a dog would use it!

Suitable for replacing steel shelves in a warehouse.

I have 2 of these and 2 of the other size (I lost one at work and one of the others bent badly when other people insulted it) I like the end of the percussion cap of one of the 4 has torn several pieces of resin or plastic. But I use it to pry and drive in steel beams to switch while I switch steel shelving at work. It's really useful in other situations. I don't think I've ever used it as a screwdriver though 😂 the ones that bend a little when you pry it open, stick it in steel and bang it…

Quality tool for power and hand tools

I've always loved tools from Klein and these new screwdrivers are no different. The same level of quality you would expect from them. The screwdriver has a good weight and the handle feels good in the hand. The end of the blade is well cut and not rounded like lower quality screwdrivers. It's cut at true 90 degrees. Brilliant. I haven't had to thresh yet, but I have no doubts that the steel toe cap will hold up easily in the end. I was happy to see that the drive shaft is connected to the end…

Not So Good - Screwdriver and Wrench

I've used a cheap flat head screwdriver as a hammer for years and it has held up well. I decided to replace it with Klein 602-4DD as that's what it was made for. From the Klein website: Designed, manufactured and tested to break and chisel. Coated metal percussion cap to protect the handle from hammer blows. A heat-treated metal rod runs the full length of the handle to the metal percussion cap to transmit the force of the metal strike. this is primarily for that. Installation of retaining…

Now I always wear this

2 YEARS UPDATE: Today it finally broke for me. I figured it would be a hammer hit that would kill, but I was actually tightening the screw when the tip broke. Also, a few months ago I was trying to pry something particularly difficult and bent the shaft. But I just twisted and bent it back, so it doesn't matter. However, there is no way back from the broken tip. I still give it 5 stars because it has withstood up to 2 years of abuse and because you can take it home and replace it for free…

They slow down more than any other screwdriver I use

As an electrician I use screwdrivers every day and I usually prefer the 6-in-1 or 11-in-1 options as the tips are interchangeable are; I like the ideal with a built-in wrench. However, this is said to be a more complex option; with Klein's own ad showing them crashing into telephone poles. However, I was incredibly lucky that the tips just fell apart with every rotational load, mind you not when prying and not when bending, but when twisting. And the Klein guarantee is useless and meaningless…

Hard but not hardcore. So be careful!

I have two of these, both bought from Revain (Update: 3 now). One for the plumber's bag and one for my electrician's bag. These are good flat head screwdrivers, especially with a nice fit and grip in my hand, plus (bonus) they're durable and built to take (I would say occasionally) be hit with a hammer. But curiosity? Definitely. I watch with him. However, this is still a screwdriver, not a crowbar or a newfangled chisel. But back to curiosity. So I just snapped off the top of the last one I…
