🚪 Efficient KIA Latch Assy for Front Left Driver's Door Review

This is a genuine KIA badge on the driver's side. This was a fairly simple fix that took about 2 hours. The nice thing was that it was the exact same part, so there was no speculation about placement. I save $400 for DIY. VICTORY!

This product was a bit difficult to replace but after watching a few YouTube videos on how to take it all apart it turned out to be quite easy. It took me and my dad 2 hours to disassemble and assemble the door.

Fits perfectly. You'll need to find some YouTube videos to remove the inner panel from the door (the outer panel is pretty easy). You have to dismantle most of the door. (removed windows, lock, handle, etc.) If you get to this place, you will succeed! It's really not that bad, it took me about an hour and a half to take it out, replace it and put it back together. I could probably do it in 20 minutes now that I know what to do.

I bought this to replace a broken actuator for my 2011 Kia Sorento. This drive is designed for the driver's door (LH). The part works as expected at a great price. A car door is very difficult to take apart and honestly it's not an easy task, but it can be done. Even window glass has to be removed. Watch a YouTube video to learn how to disassemble the door. I think I used a 10mm socket for the screws. You will also need a Phillips screwdriver and a drill with a Torx T30 bit. Make sure you do it
