Used in a 1981 Honda Goldwing Touring Truck, this was a big improvement with standard 4 inch speakers (4). Kicker also for 4" coaxial speakers. Great sound now!

Good entry-level factory replacement. With Kicker subwoofers, you get what you pay for. Of course you need a quality amplifier. I would go with Compr, at least if it's within budget

I was trying to install it on a Hyundai Veloster to replace the stock unit but this thing is too powerful for the car. I see people enjoying it and so do I, it's not the woofer's fault, it's my cheaply made car.

Bought to replace a broken Mark Levinson subwoofer in my Lexus IS 350. It was specially adapted to an existing mount, but it was worth the effort. It totally exceeded my expectations and added the "punch" I needed for the sound system. Heavy and very beautiful to look at. Very happy!

I'll have to modify the box a bit to make it fit. It's just too big for a 2002 Tahoe subwoofer. Solid build, great packaging. Just know what you have and what you get if you don't like plastic shavings :)

Installed on a 2011 Honda Odyssey to replace the OEM paper subwoofer. I decided to try it without adding an amp just to see and I got what I wanted. More range and cleaner sound than OEM. At higher volumes, the sound is significantly better. At lower volumes it feels OEM as the factory subwoofer runs at a meager 50 watts.

Fits standard JBL Toyota Tacoma 2 ohm dual voice coil 8" subwoofer behind passenger seat. Please note that installing this speaker will require new mounting holes to be drilled. Also, some of the plastic supports in the factory packaging need to be cut to clean the speaker magnet. Sound quality is better than stock.

Even with the stock amp probably at 40% power it sounds very clean and powerful but not overwhelming - just what I was looking for. I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely use Kicker again for my car audio needs in the future.

Purchased to replace a burned out JBL subwoofer in 04 4Runner. The hole patterns don't match the old ones, so you'll have to make new ones. The box will need significant modification and trimming to match the depth, so be prepared with a Dremel tool. After installation, the sound was good. No performance issues after 1 month.
