We bought this for our son's room and after my husband assembled it and lifted it to bring it upstairs the whole lid came off and the screws fell off! It is added to wood to make it more durable! Definitely not worth 100! We paid for the pre treatment so glad we did!

The shelf itself arrived beautiful and in perfect condition, but it has an overpowering (VERY STRONG) smell. It's so bad he's been locked in a guest room for over two weeks. I still can't use it. I tried putting books on it and they all smelled. The smell is so strong that it swallows a 15x12 room. It is assembled and non-refundable. This is a big disappointment. What is that smell? This is a strong smell of varnish, a mixture of strong plastic and paint. It's terrible.
