Would order again but would have done the project differently

This was my first set of Senbazuru. Paper squares are about the size of a regular post note but thinner (although not too fragile, I've never torn a single sheet). I found the size just right. Not too big to show and not too small to fold. Color on one side, white on the other. Mine were in perfect squares and the 20 extra sheets were each one of 20 different colors so perfect if you screw it up. Nicely done, great project and great product. My only complaint is that the picture on the front of

Everything You Need

This kit contains everything you need to make Senbazuru, including yarn and some beads. There are 51 sheets of each of the 20 colors, so you get at least 1 extra sheet in case you make a mistake or one of them falls off. I originally intended to make a mobile display, but ended up needing 1020 roosters to fill a 24 x 36 inch box frame (with an 11 x 14 inch photo frame inside) as a birthday gift for a kids party. Ideal for group projects

Love bright colours; The kit came in 20 rainbow spectrums of different colors. Note the smaller paper size of 3" x 3" instead of the more typical 5" x 5" (but it's a cute little bird that takes up less space). Make cute cranes! Ideal for a group project. ***** UPDATE ***** It took us about 7 months to fold a set of 1000 paper cranes with two people. I have uploaded photos of our project so you can get a better idea of what the kit looks like and how our project turned out. I don't know of a…

Roughly my second set of 1000 roosters.

I ordered one of these kits about 10 years ago and in about 2.5 months of free time assembled 1000 cranes including their route. Once I got used to folding the cranes, I was able to fold the cranes one at a time in about 3 minutes. However, I lined them up in color order and it looks good, but not as good as I could make it out to be. I already ordered a second set at the beginning of April 2018. I wanted to challenge myself again and stack another thousand cranes. This time I folded all the…
