Smells good.: Hair care

I have 2 dogs and they hate this product. But I liked it, I will be a regular customer. The scent stays on their fur for about a week. This is the only dog shampoo that lasts this long.

Pros
  • Long-lasting finish
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Made in the USA Best Personal Care

The scent was too scented so this seems like a good idea, anyone looking for a moderate scent should look elsewhere. Made in the USA and clearly stated on the Revain website.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Low lather, no fragrance, soft hair

The smell of this shampoo in the bottle is not too strong. I smell figs on the dog, but no cedar. However, I mostly smell soap, which is not very good. It's very runny and not thick like you would expect from a shampoo. It's liquid, oily, not watery. I had to use a lot more than I expected because it didn't lather well. My dog's coat was nice and soft afterwards, but I didn't care about the aftertaste. All. I don't think I would buy this again.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Not for everyone

Smells Like Cologne

First thing I noticed when it arrived (aside from the fact that the package it came in was leaking because Revain put it in a ziplock bag put in a box). it strong smell. It took a while even after using it on my dog but I finally figured it out. I have a cologne with the same smell. Which is kinda weird bathing my dog with a smell similar to my mens perfume. So I'm a little disappointed in the smell, although it was hard to detect after a swim unless my nose was right next to my dog. But afterโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Doesn't foam, great smell, black labrador fur has a silky shine again!

Although this is an expensive shampoo, it is very kind to my dog's skin. He's prone to itching and gets a lot of dandruff in the winter and this shampoo helped stop the itching and made his black lab hair so soft and shiny that everyone was petting him all the time. As if he hadn't been petted enough! The Fig+Cedar Shampoo smells great on our dog, but it took about 1/3 of a bottle to wash a 60 lb dog as it's sulfate free and non-lathering. Plus it works for him and we have a clean and silkyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • No color required

The grassy smell here is very pleasant. Positioned as organic, although not certified, someone will like it. I'm not sure if something labeled as organic is organic, so it doesn't really matter unless it's certified by a third party. However, I find that the product looks good, smells good and is completely safe for the animal's skin. One thing that needs to be said is that you won't get a lot of lather from this. This is pretty low-lather. This is normal as I'm getting used to newer soapsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Only available in black

Cleans badly, does not foam and matts the coat. Pass this!

First I got the wrong product so I ended up buying and using kin+kind Fig and Cedar Shampoo. I have been using only organic shampoos on my dogs for many years. It has ways of beating the competition. Let's start with the fact that it doesn't lather at all. Shampoo only foams where it gets on the coat. It doesn't spread easily in the coat even if you put warm water in the coat to spread the shampoo a bit. I ended up using a lot more dog shampoo than usual and still felt like the shampoo wasn'tโ€ฆ
