Kingston has never let me down

I've had a lot of experience with Kingston RAM and haven't encountered a bad flash drive yet. I always do a full memtest on every new machine or after buying RAM and indeed these 2x4GB sticks passed all the tests with flying colors. I've also had this RAM since around January 15, 2012 (that was the date of purchase anyway). I just never got around to writing a review. This memory scored 7.3 in the Windows 7 Experience Index, at least when I tested it about a year ago. I don't actually use…

  • Satisfied so far

Plug and Play compatibility with Surprise Performance Improvement

I bought this to upgrade a 1 year old Dell Vostro 3500 Core i3-370m laptop that I was repurposing for my son for college use. Since I was doing a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit, I wanted to make the best use of memory so that multiple Linux VMs could run without too much of a performance hit. The Dell BIOS recognized the Kingston RAM immediately with no complaints or blue screen errors. Win7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit operating system and Microsoft Office 2010 software are stable and…

Kingston ValueRam 8GB 1333MHz DDR3

Great product that will save you a lot of money. Works just as well as the original RAM in iMac and MacPro. Changed RAM from 4GB to 8GB on my 3 Apple computers. I saved about $425 by making it myself. iMac desktops are easy to swap out as there is only one screw to remove from the underside of the computer on the underside beneath the black Apple logo. NOTEBOOK MacPro requires removing the cover on the back of the laptop. To do this, unscrew 10 very small Phillips screws. Read the instructions…

  • Good workmanship

  • Poor kit

Great Performance + $360 Saving over Apple RAM = A MUST BUY!

I wanted to upgrade my RAM from 4GB on my late 2011 MBP (15' 2.4 i7) but didn't even want to pay the extra $200 when I bought my MBP and did it definitely. I don't want to " I don't want to pay $400 separately. So I searched the internet and saw Corsairs and saw some bad reviews about problems with Kernal. I read it and didn't get any bad reviews. Well I can say it's the RAM cards you want for your iMac/MBP/Mac Mini! I was very happy with it. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • It has almost everything
