better than expected

Much better than I expected the sound is clear and loud with no crackling or distortion I have 2 of these connecting 2 pairs of 20 watt Pioneer speakers to my computer and they sound excellent, beautiful and clear even at full volume. I run them with some old wall warts that output 12 volts DC at 1.5 watts and they work fine. I plan on buying a few more of these, I know I'm going to blow them up somehow, and I'm going to be really sad. I am very happy with this pair, I will be buying 2 more…

Bought this amp thinking of replacing the components later.

I wasn't expecting much from this amp, it was under $20 with the power supply. It's rated at 2 amps, just like the power supply for my Bose Companion 2 desktop speakers, which I often unplugged at work because I didn't like them. I paired this with a pair of Dayton Audio B452 speakers, which cost $30 shipping because they came in an open box. I'm pleasantly surprised with the sound quality on my desk, now I have a decent system on my desk for $50. The music isn't very high quality, but at least

Pros
  • Easy to read front panel
Cons
  • Minor issues

I bought a KM18 bluetooth adapter for my 2005 titanium pickup to get bluetooth for my phone. The KM18's output, even at maximum truck volume, wasn't strong enough to hear (with road noise) through the aux port. I boosted the aux input level with this little amp. The power supply is 12 VDC (the amp requires a 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC jack) and I converted the KM18's output to match the amp's input (1/8" male to two RCA plugs). The outputs of the amp are bare copper (spring terminals). I converted them…

Powerful enough in amplifiers

First of all, what I don't like: Stupid color-changing LED is annoying when the thing is standing somewhere. The speaker terminals are tab-down, making them difficult to use when attached to something. The volume control is too easy to accidentally adjust. The front panel is slightly offset from the circuit board. There is no heatsink on the amplifier chip. So why did I give 5 stars? This thing costs the same as a burrito and has more than enough power to power my 3 inch desktop monitors. For…

Great for the money if your expectations are reasonable

I bought this primarily as a small aux input with volume control for a vintage car which I didn't like the factory radio placement. This item costs $10 without the plug and $16 with. How about neither? I opened it up, unplugged it, and connected the power and ground wire to it. I also wanted to screw it to something at the bottom rather than the top, but then all the labels would be upside down, so I took it out of the case and turned the guts over. This required drilling two holes in the side…

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Slightly dented

PLEASANT SOUND AMPLIFIER FOR CHEAP

Very surprised! I've read a lot of bad reviews about Kinter products in general and this little amp in particular. I hesitated to order it, even at the ridiculously low price of ten dollars. First, it's a tiny amplifier. As big as a pack of cigarettes and just as light. So this isn't the kind of amp you need for the living room when entertaining or hosting a party. On the other hand, it's a great amp for background music, your study, office or home office. Perfect for your bedroom. For a…
