Optimized Search: DIY Lip Balm Kit by Kiss Naturals Review

I bought this project for my 11 year old to do during quarantine. We had a lot of fun making soap and it smelled nice. I wish the molds were bigger and had more flavors but other than that we had fun.

I bought a soap making kit for my 8 year old daughter. She loved it and for me it was relatively easy to use, a bit messy and she could do it herself. She also had the added bonus of cute little bathroom soaps and a few left over for a gift.

I bought some craft kits to keep the kids busy this summer. That was her favorite pastime. My 4 and 8 year olds were able to do this under the supervision of their 15 year old cousin. All 3 liked it. Color combinations are truly endless thanks to mixing. There were 2 scents included but neither was a fan of the jasmine scent. This product looks like it has been opened before. The first one I received I asked for an exchange thinking it had been opened as the box had been torn open and had no seal. I then received a second box which was also a bit torn and the product was packaged the same way so I guess that's it. That's the whole product just thrown into a bag which is then placed in a box. There is no seal on wax, butter and shea butter. Couldn't tell if it was a fake.

My granddaughter was so excited to make this. I like that they are organic so I don't have to worry about what goes in their mouth. My disappointment came when we realized there wasn't enough dripping for seasoning. The bottles are very small. We put in fewer drops than needed, and she would probably only be able to make three out of what appeared to be six tubes in the box. I contacted the company but unfortunately they are based in Canada and it would be too expensive to send me more bottles.

My 7-year-old daughter really liked this set! She's always wanted to make her own lip balm and it's difficult to buy these ingredients in small batches, but this kit solves that problem. I like that it's not overloaded with chemicals. She enjoyed doing each of them and was able to do many of the steps herself. Bought a lip balm kit for a teen who loves to craft and has endless patience for projects like this one and this project pushed patience to the limit. It was an incredibly messy and frustrating experience and I'm amazed at the mostly positive reviews. After 45 minutes we have 1 good tube of balm and buttery, waxy goo all over.
