Created with unique, non-porous FLXaPrene material that stains that cause buildup on the glove. The raised nub surface pattern is engineered to provide a better, safer, non-slip grip. Designed to be Heat-Resistant, protect your hands from hot and cold temperatures from 500DegreeF/260DegreeC to -134DegreeF/-92DegreeC. The raised nub surface texture creates more insulation between the hand and the heat source. Water-Repellent, protects hands from steam and liquid burns, even when wet.

Excellent mittens and protection

Love these mittens - bought a second pair. They offer excellent protection (neoprene) in all circumstances and fit well. Easy to clean. The best gloves I've ever had.

Slightly better than fabric

Consists of a thick rubber-like material. Insulates well and is slightly more flexible than traditional thicker fabrics. Seems easier to clean. Inside the glove, the warning label states the following (abbreviated): - Not for commercial use - Use only the cross-cut textured rubber side against hot surfaces [both sides conform to this description] - Avoid direct contact with flame - Do not lay down the glove leave off on stove top or in oven - do not immerse in water or liquid [leak?]

Excellent oven gloves

Bought these to replace a very old pair of similar material and construction which have become absolute favourites . They are just as good as the originals. Easy to use and clean, provides a great grip for removing hot items from ovens and hobs. I prefer this type of glove to all others. One reviewer expressed concerns about safety and the possibility of burns. I've never had a problem with mine and have never burned myself while using them. There may be some heat transfer directly along theโ€ฆ
