Far from a $400 knife set, but for the price it was ok. Sharp, light, looks good. I will use them for many years. I would recommend it for general use. No claims from me. Great product for the price.

Had to buy a whetstone to sharpen these knives as they were not sharp when they arrived. Only two passed the sharpness test. Most couldn't even cut a tomato. We like the look of the set, but we expected them to be ready to use and not boring as a rock.

So far the knives have worked well when we have used them. The case and the knives themselves look very beautiful and expensive. The knives are strong but not too heavy for the hand or wrist. We like her very much. Our only complaint is that it holds fingerprints so easily. We need to wash and polish them again after each use to keep them looking good.
