A bit more sturdy and thicker rim but not significantly better than those you can get at the dollar tree. IF you have to change often for whatever reason it is not worth the difference. But since it is so cheap, if you can afford this, it is worth the extra to avoid the potential rough edges on some you get at the dollar tree.

I like these little strainers very much, but still use them with a plastic strainer over the top because they would easily be overwhelmed with debris. The two work in concert and it keeps the drain from getting clogged.

I bought these to put in my bathroom sink in case one of my temporary teeth came out. I had visions of it coming out of my mouth and down the drain but this would catch the tooth instead of me losing it.

I got this in the 3.54" for my kitchen sink. It was a bit too small but it still worked. The holes were SO tiny and caught every tiny microscopic food that I wouldn't have minded going down the drain. So the microscopic foods would get caught and then the water wouldn't drain. Ended up buying another sink strainer later. Otherwise this product is easy to clean and sturdy.

My daughter has long strong hair that clogs the tub plumbing. We bought a plastic on that was used for a couple of years, but its raised design and other featufinally got me to go find this design. Fits perfectly and like its functionality much better.

As one that fosters puppies - I bought myself a carpet cleaner last year. However, was when I would clean out the dirty water tank, I was having to awkwardly claw hair out of the drain. This product does a great job at catching the hair while being easy to clean.

This product fit in my bathroom sink after squishing the mesh a little bit. My only complaints would be that it causes the water to drain slowly. Without it, the sink does not back up, but when it’s down, the sink backs up. As soon as I remove it all the backed up water drains immediately. I’ve only have it in my sink for 3 weeks or so, but it has already begun to rust on the underside. :( This is a temporary fix, as I hope to replace the faucet/drain plug apparatus in the future. Works great and well made but if you bought these to protect from lint produced by washing machines, these get clogged after about 10 uses. On one hand, they work, awesome! On the other hand, it is easy to forget about these and find out that your sink is now 100% clogged (I will put a water alarm). Also, cleaning lint from these things is a little hard.That side, well made and they obviously work. No signs of rusting so far.

The shape of these can bend morph easily, that's why it's good to have more than one, but that's the only problem with it. They really work! They fit properly and catch all the hair (and other things like lint, etc.) so I dont have to clean the drain as often. It's the best!

This screen strainer fits down inside the sink drain perfectly. Catches small pieces that get past the strainer basket.NOTE - you are not able to stop sink drain using the strainer basket unless you remove this screen strainer. No big deal, if you need to fill sink with water and keep sink filled, just remove this small strainer insert and use the strainer basket to hold water in your sink.Just what I needed to help prevent future clogs in drain lines.

These are the best for keeping hair or anything else from going down your drain and stopping it up it saves you a lot of money in the long run.

These are light, easy to use, and inexpensive ways to prevent hair from going down the drain and clogging your pipes. I have long hair, and had a hard time keeping my shower drain clear and free-flowing until I started using these. Good product for a great price

Love these, but they do catch eeeeverything, including dust and lint so after a few months its a bit gross trying to clean and it is more tempting to throw away and switch them out. But they are so cheap its not a big deal. At least it actually catches everything and doesn't let the drain clog.

arrived on time and in perfect condition--there were 2 insert style screens to keep hair from entering the tub's trap system. this is an excellent solution as the screens dont move until you remove them for cleaning.

Filters great, but a little hair and some soap scum clog cause slow draining. Not a huge prob, but I’d the holes were a little larger, I think this problem would be solved. I was impressed with how sturdy it is, though. At least I don’t have to clean long hair out of the drain anymore!
