Theoretically good, but not the right product.

This item clogs easily and does not dispense the right amount. A teaspoon will be selected, but only about a third of a teaspoon will actually come out. The sugar chamber is also not airtight, so moisture will cause the sugar in the chamber to stick together. All in all this is a very imperfect product, good in theory but not implemented in this product.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

NOT worth $10 at Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets

It was only $10 but when it doesn't work right I feel like I've been ripped off. The dispenser pen doesn't work properly, but I'm too lazy to send it back. I bought it because it could dose 1, 1/2, and 3/4 teaspoons. Compression pump only. Maybe it's sugar - I use Splenda. I don't know, but don't worry. It should cost $3 or less. Besides, it doesn't hold up much. I threw it away last night after only about 2 weeks of use.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons

Measurement feature

My wife found it difficult to grind sugar granules (personal physical limitation) and so we use it to dose creamer powders that require a larger size (let's say a time and a half) would be even better ( Something for the manufacturer to consider and test to make small adjustments if necessary and then manufacture). It can also be a good idea to make a larger size for sugar. The metering press handle has been broken since the last check; too fragile.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Approximately

Be careful with this!

Mine broke in the first week. The measurement doesn't seem very accurate. I set it to 1 teaspoon to sweeten my coffee, but I used several "teaspoons" to get it sweet enough. When I went to tune it, the dial felt a bit stiff, so I turned it harder. After some pressure it just clicked and now I can't adjust the measurement at all! It's still better than the old-fashioned method of adding sugar from a container to my coffee, but I'm a little disappointed with how flimsy the construction was.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Hard to say

Works better than expected

After reading the reviews on this gauge I was a little hesitant to order it or not. Well the price was right even if it didn't work so I placed the order. After receiving the product, I looked through the complaints of other buyers and found: yes, it is a little difficult to squeeze the handle to dispense the product, but not everything is so bad. Not living in a humid climate, I have no problem with food (sugar, fiber) sticking together and not being spread. In any case, I am very satisfied…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Useless features

Doesn't work and cheaply made (breaks when it works!)

Terrible product, look elsewhere! I figured it would be a good kitchen utensil and not going to end up in the back of a cupboard like so many others - I was wrong! I haven't even gotten to using it to measure and pour sugar. The bottom didn't close or fully close and when I washed it before use the water came out of everything! Luckily I kept it over the sink. I noticed that the dials for turning and measuring the amount of sugar don't turn smoothly, and the button that presses the sugar…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • For old ones

Poor design in meters and scales

It's a good idea (being able to measure a teaspoon of sugar with the push of a button). And it works for a few days. And even these days are of poor quality. Then grains of sugar get into the mechanism and it becomes very difficult to operate the switch. Then a few more days and when I hit the switch it doesn't "twitch" like it used to. Push and push until the end. It breaks off and flies in the other direction. And sometimes there's the skin of my palm. And man it hurts. I'm going to wrap that

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • A lot
