Great lighter but the on/off switch is a little fancy. You flip the switch to the on position and it's too easy. As if there should be a spring holding it. Other than that, this is a great lighter.

Lasts almost 3 years. Worked great for 2 years but in the last few months the 2 pins that generate the electrical current started to fail. There is no longer any visible stream. Must buy replacement.

Very good for lighting things like candles or paper. It won't replace windproof lighters for camping and trying to start things like Fatwood, as an electric arc lighter won't last long enough.

These lighters are great. Not sure if I received a defective one or not, but it doesn't flash 1000 times as advertised before needing a charge. I've already charged it about 3 times since I first used it 5 weeks ago. I probably only fired it 30 times between reloads.

Very weak flame compared to gas lighters (butane or liquid lighters). It takes 3-4 times longer to light compared to gas lighters, which is enough to drain the battery to the point that it needs to be charged every 3-4 days.
