🚲 Bike Bottle Holder KlickFix Adapter for Bottles Review

This little gem fits snugly into the 16mm rear tube on my trainee trike. It had a tendency to slip with the thin strip of rubber provided, but tightened well with the slightly thicker piece left over from another project.

I gave this three stars even though it didn't suit me. If you read other reviews it works for some people but not for others. I'm pretty sure the difference is that it works for those using it around a tube that faces up/down (like a seat tube, down tube, or stem). It doesn't seem to work if you use it on a tube that runs from side to side (like a handlebar or top tube). This is no exception, except that if you mount it on the handlebars (horizontally), the weight of the bottle and/or the effort to get the bottle out of the cage will rotate the mount on the handlebars no matter how hard you tighten it. Just installed it on my wife's Brompton (M6R) and am impressed. I'm about to order another one for my bike (S6R) - Easy assembly - Very solid assembly - Seems to be very tight - As far as I can tell I don't think this will damage the finish.
