Excellent keyboard; amazing price

The only problem I had, like many others I'm sure, was the ugly font. That's not a huge disappointment, as it's clear that the manufacturer had to cut corners somewhere in this price range. On a positive note, the keyboard itself feels solid and reliable. It's a keyless keyboard, so you have plenty of room for your mouse. The keyboard comes with original Cherry MX Red switches. So if you're a FPS gamer on a budget who wants top-notch performance without the unnecessary bling, this is definitely

High quality knowledge base suitable for keyboards, mice and accessories

So I currently have a Corsair k70 lux cherry mx red and when I bought it it was $130. This keyboard seems to be of a higher quality, it's lighter, the keyboard is regular ANSI without ten keys so you can change and upgrade keycaps, it has a USB-C connector for power so you can get aviator cables , if you want, but most importantly . IT COST $50 AND HAS CHERRY MX RED SWITCHES. This keyboard is such a great value that I couldn't help but buy it. And the boy did not disappoint me. I had originally

In 2020 I spent hundreds on keyboards. This one is still my favourite.

That's it. This was my first mechanical keyboard which I bought after watching the Linus Tech Tips video. From the moment I bought it I fell in love with it and wondered if I could get essentially the same keyboard with some additional features. I realized that no matter how versatile other keyboards are, I always want to go back to this one. Here are the keyboards I bought this year (that I'm comparing against): - Release CTRL. low profile ($220 - Kaihua Speed Silver Linear Switches)…

An amazing keyboard, not just for the price but overall.

This is an amazing keyboard. Cherry MX reds at this price point are amazing, but if you're on this page you already know that, just wondering if it's too good to be true. That's definitely not true. No tricks or shorts, no dustbin switches or anything, just an amazing keyboard. There are no obvious flaws, but that doesn't mean this board is featureless. The lack of dedicated media keys is a big issue and the only one that really stands out to me. Obviously this is a keyless board. So if you…

Reliable non hot swappable board

After using $10 membrane keypads this board feels incredibly smooth. Although I had no experience with mechanical keyboards, I could immediately notice a certain spring ping when typing fast. If you type lightly, it won't be noticeable in normal use. But if you're more of an autocratic type like me, then the "spreading out" sound of the bottom end switches will sound pretty distinct. I definitely prefer this board for gaming as simply pressing WASD feels much smoother compared to the membrane…

  • Worth the money

Click, who's at the coat stand? Me!

I've been looking for a mechanical keyboard for years but hesitated to buy one because A) I already had a perfectly working keyboard and B) reading the reviews that it sounded as loud as You must wear hearing protection when using any of these. During a recent move, I left my aforementioned perfectly working keyboard outdoors for extended periods of time, exposed to the rain, sun, and whatever else is rolling in Southern California for those few months. When I finally got back to the keyboard…

Cons
  • Good but not great

Pretty good if you're willing to add

Pros: Good build quality Detachable Type-C USB connector [fits custom cables] Red Cherry MX switches Nice floating-key design White LED is on nice bright white Standard keycap swap layout Cons: ABS keycaps with ugly writing Cheap gimbals [have noticeable rattling] No Marco functionality [I don't use them so I don't care] No dedicated media keys. I also had an Asceny cord that I draped over it. You can definitely spend some money on this board and get a cool setup.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Annoying

Best budget gear with Cherry MX

killer budget gear. While the reds aren't my favorite, they definitely feel great. I couldn't tell any difference between the reds on this mech and the reds on some of the Corsair and Ducky keyboards I have. I like the writing on the keys but they are too thin for my liking. Unfortunately, this is the default for most gaming robots. On the plus side, it has very bright lights and a detachable cord, which is very important to me on mechs. It offers a tough combination at the bottom end. However,
