Good for emergency road bike commuter kit repairs

Ideal for emergency chain repairs. Make sure you have a chain breaker to remove damaged links. Easy installation without additional tools.

Comes with only 2 links

Photo shows 3 links but only 2 came I'm a 3 link one. At least the package says "Link missing" because the third link is actually missing. Rschunimagu

Not suitable for drive components

I bought a 9 speed version. I have installed quick couplers on many other bikes and know they are always tight. But this one won't fit. I tried this on a Shimano 9 speed chain and a KMC 9 speed chain to make sure it wasn't a chain issue. It is not. You don't have enough play for the pin to engage in the groove.
