Big competition for Shimano and SRAM

I never knew much about KMC chains until I recently bought a gravel bike equipped with them. However, there is actually not much to say about a bicycle chain. I have always used SRAM chains because they are easy to remove from the bike for a thorough cleaning. Just separate the missing missing link and it's off the bike. KMC works the same way. one, two, three and that's it. However, I'm not entirely sure about one thing. It is said that every time you assemble a chain, you must use a new…

I love sports best

I love these chains. I've been riding the Titanium Gold chain for almost five years now. I do about three laps a year and average about 3500 miles per lap. The best thing about them is that they don't stretch! I've never seen one of them miss a shift in their entire lives. The only caveat to not stretching is that you have to track your miles. I once pushed this chain to the limit at about 5000 miles when it finally broke while sprinting uphill. I broke Shimano and rammed red 22 chains while…

Superb light strong chain

I love this chain so much! Updated to 1x11 and was looking for a chain. I've usually used Sram or Shimano chains when servicing, but this time I chose KMC as they offer a lightweight option at a price I can live with. I decided to do something different with this gold color and I'm SO glad I did! It looks better in real than in the photos. The chain broke easily where I had to install it and the missing links are easy to insert and very secure. Make sure you have pliers if you need to remove a…

The chain is of good quality, no complaints.

I've bought several of these chains in the past, that's what happens when you have multiple bikes, all 11 speeds. I ran them on 1X and 2X transfers with no issues. I have a couple of chains for each bike, I'm a bit of a fan of keeping my toys clean and want them to last a long time. Depending on the conditions, I clean the chain off the bike about every 2-4, maybe 6 weeks. So as long as a chain gets wet and cleaner, I can still ride. I also clean the cassette and front sprocket, now I have all…
