Description of ๐Ÿ”„ KNACRO PWM to Voltage Converter Module: 0-100% PWM Converted to 0-10V Voltage for Signal Interface Switching in PLC or Industrial Control Applications (PWM-to-Voltage)

PWM-to-voltage module able to convert the digital PWM signal into an analog signal 0 ~ 10V. PLC can be used for industrial control panel or other signal interface switching, by adjusting the PWM duty cycle to regulate the output voltage. Under the module size, easy to use in different places. Embedded microcontroller technology. Easy to operate, you can fine-tune the potentiometer. Take the PWM signal input level range by short-circuiting. Module Working voltage: DC12V ~ 30V (Power Requirements: greater than 100mA), PWM signal receiving frequency range: 1KHz ~ 3KHz.

Schematic Required: Power Converter

Unit works very well but at 50kHz it is too fast and within the required FCC EMI test range (9kHz and above). I want to get the schematic (schematic details) so I can make changes - post in this thread.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

The product came earlier than promised.

This item works as expected. It's smaller than I thought it would be, so I can place it pretty much anywhere on my dyno. The only problem I have is how to mount it safely, although with a little creativity this will be solved.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Weight

No 0-5V output. 0-10V only

Description assumes 0-5 V output with jumper setting. It's not like this. Both jumper options output 0-10V and are supplied without jumpers. I had to provide for my own. I have ordered a replacement but it appears the entire batch is out of spec/defective.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Didn't work at all - power supply accessory

Did everything according to specs to try it with a 5V PWM input powered by a 24V DC power supply to get it running. No matter what I tried (changing the frequency in my grbl stm32 firmware to 1kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, even up to 100Hz, I still stuck to max 10V output). I ordered another board from Amazon and it immediately worked as it should, so I would refrain from using this product to convert PWM to 0-10V analog voltage for VFD spindle speed control. Too much time wasted troubleshooting thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I'll add later

Works well BUT weak output pullup resistor.

Works as advertised: Analog input 0-10 or 0-5V outputs 5V PWM On board regulator adjusts the duty cycle to full range and can go as high as 100 % . The downside: the PWM output is weak. If it is connected to the input of an optocoupler and supplied with 5 OR 12 volts, the output will be loaded, so the receiving device will not work! I got a few volts from both my DC motor drive and laser driver inputs. Disappointing. ***Update: This has an open collector output using the LM393. The pull-upโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
