    Excellent troubleshooting guide

    I have been knitting for about 16 years and have a dozen books on knitting. Knit Fix is the BEST guide to spotting, correcting and preventing knitting errors. It is easy to read and gives you the feeling that the author is sitting next to you and coaching you. Other books only cover the problems briefly, but this one really shows what the errors look like and how to fix them. The only other book that even comes close to Knit Fix is Elizabeth Zimmerman's classic Knit Without Tears. If you want…

    I'm by no means a knitting specialist. Actually, I still see myself as a beginner. I already have the Vogue Knitting Quick Reference which pretty much covers everything in this book. I was hoping for the "next step" in knitting. Unfortunately, this book does not offer that. And if you're looking to save money, you can find a lot of what you'll find here online (even with videos). Yes, I could find out for myself, but being able to flip to the right page is so much better! Many of them are aimed at beginners, which greatly increases their attractiveness.
