Let me start by saying this isn't too good to be true, this is a great set. If you want to try a few different types of needles before paying for a full set, or are a beginner looking to get the most bang for your buck, this is for you. The metal figure eights are almost identical to my 8US/5mm Chiago Fixed Circulars (pictured), although they appear to be lighter. I bought this pattern set because I wanted to try a few different types of knitting needles before buying the whole set. TL;DR I'm glad I tested these needles because I didn't like them a metal pair and a square wood pair. I generally like the round tree. So here is my review of this set.
