Broken needle

I have to say I really like this set. That's why I gave 3 stars: I bought it because I just unrolled it and didn't plan to bring any knitting supplies. I recently decided to start a project and I needed size 4 and 5 needles, but apparently I didn't have a local craft store to pick up the needles. This set looked great and was well priced. Surprised by the amount of knitting materials, surprised by the quality for the price.

I was amazed when I received this kit. It's so complete you won't need anything else to knit your projects. I'm a hobby knitter and I think the quality is good. Better quality than I expected for the price. I only opened two needles. The wood is smooth, the tips are sharp. I changed these needles for the current project I'm working on and they are smooth and easy to knit. Great suggestion for beginners

I'm new to knitting (I've been doing it in quarantine for the past two months) and I think this kit is pretty good for beginners experimenting with different yarn counts and techniques. I haven't tried every set in the set but I found the large needles to be quite strong and smooth. Last week I tried 4mm circular needles and found that they are not as smooth as the larger needles.
