Good Almost five stars

It was an impulse purchase and very convenient. Based on the feedback I get from inside the jeep, it may be off by 1 or 2 psi when using the digital dial function. Another thing is the incredibly short cord, I actually plugged an extension cord into it and wrapped it around during storage.

Even ran across them working!

We had the same but older model a few years ago and it was amazing. My husband accidentally ran it over with his truck and it still worked! Ha! So when we replaced the old model he had moved to, we bought the exact same brand because the last one held up so well. even after being hit by a big truck lol! The new one is good and very easy to use. It is very easy to use even for an inexperienced teenage driver or maybe someone who is older.

Will not work with Presta bike valves

It includes a presta adapter but was unable to measure pressure or add air to any of the various presta valves I tried. Using my own Presta adapter (which I know works) gave the same result. The item's stats description is incorrect when it says you can set the inflation value from 1 to 120psi. It only allows adjustment in 10 psi increments. So if you need 35 psi, for example, resort to the manual process.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Okay, but don't count on exactly 120psi.

Compact, relatively quiet (for an air compressor), easy to transport, adjustable pressure. My only complaint is that I bought it to inflate my bike's tires, which require 120psi. So I sold my 100psi compressor because I couldn't just add the last 20psi with a hand pump. When I first used Cobalt it would go up to 120psi and shut off. After that it only goes to 116psi and works until I turn it off. Don't expect it to pump to exactly 120psi.

Good but important caveats

I recently received my cobalt portable air compressor. All in all I am satisfied with one exception. What they don't tell you is that you can only set your desired inflation pressure in 10psi increments. I wanted to inflate the tire to 36psi, but you can only set your desired pressure to 30 or 40psi (in 10psi increments). I was sure I was missing something until I called their tech support and was told it only happens in 10psi increments. So if you want to inflate a tire to 36psi you need to…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Very easy to read digital screen. Works great.

You're going to want one of these in the trunk of every car you own. I gave one to my son and we have one in each of our cars. You will also need an extension cord that is at least 25 feet long since the power cord is not very long. The first one I received was used so often for car tires, basketballs, soccer balls, soccer balls and bike tires that I put it in the trunk of my car to have with us on our travels. In the end it became easier for me to have one in every car. It's very easy to use…

The best tire inflator for your car

I bought this tire inflator through Revain's online store. I was looking for a compressor with an automatic tire pressure switch-off that could also be operated from the AC mains and 12 V DC from the van's starter battery. Output to the bus I wanted to fill and connected. Plugged in the compressor and the display lit up and read 0.0psi. I attached the air line so that the tire pressure is displayed. I set the gauge pressure to what I wanted and hit the start button. The tire was about 12 pounds

Pros
  • Consistent test results

  • Some flaws

These are little things.

I need an electric air compressor for my garage so I can properly inflate my car tires. Even when they are new they lose 1-2psi a month and my gas mileage suffers as a result. Finding a device that runs on 120V and comes with a digital pressure gauge turned out to be surprisingly difficult. Pros: * Digital pressure gauge that shows tire pressure before inflation (although the device needs to be plugged in). reached and then switches off automatically. * The hose quick connector makes it easy to
