Good strong rope on fittings

Bought to help fell a tree. This worked perfectly to guide the tree to the ground and away from the nearest fence. It was cheaper at Revain than my local Lowe.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not the best

Fast delivery and just what I needed.

I ordered this rope to wrap around the banister of a spiral staircase. Worked great. Added extra grip and looks great. I've received many compliments on the look of this rope.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some mistakes

1/2 inch? - Rope

This rope is a good functional rope, but if you need a rope that is exactly 1/2 inch in diameter or less than 1/2 inch in diameter, then you may need after one to look for another rope. If exact size doesn't matter, it's a strong, durable rope. It was easy enough to work with.

Worked great for what I needed

I wanted something to finish off my ladder and was thinking of a rope. The only wish is that it was easier to cut. I will be ordering more for other home upgrades to tie everything together. This rope was strong and easy to work with other than cutting. I got so many additions to my rope ladder.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Cat Scratching Post

I often buy this rope to restore my cat's scratching post. Much cheaper than buying a new post. I remove the old, broken rope (originally a quarter inch) and replace it with 1/2 inch rope which is much stronger. After putting the new string on the scratching post, I sprinkled it with catnip to attract cats.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Appearance

Good price.

There is nothing I don't like about this product. It looks good and feels durable. I needed this to cover the top of a faux leather storage chest that doubles as a coffee table. The cover was falling apart and I wanted to save the chest so I bought 100 feet of 1/2 inch rope. I need more to cover the side of the lid but I can honestly say this is a very attractive look. It goes well with the color scheme of my living room. My husband really likes the look and I highly recommend this product for…

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • So far, so good

Not satisfied, do not buy for dog to play with, shredding, choking hazard

I bought this rope to tie to a tree for my pit bull to attach large toys to and when I cut than it started tearing into separate layers, it has a waxy coating almost like plastic rope, it is very difficult to tie and does not hold a knot well. Maybe I'm knitting wrong. But not the rope I expected. Not very strong when it comes to my dog tearing it apart with a 9 month old pit bull puppy and tearing it to pieces. It is also not recommended for dogs to tie or reinforce toys as the pieces will be…

  • This is great
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great for tree swings

I bought two 50 foot lengths of this rope to hang a swing from a tree in my yard. I attached the rope to a strong branch about 40 feet off the ground and used a 3 foot 2x10 board as the swing seat. It was only old for about 6 months but was well weathered and not worn or broken. It appears to be very strong and has minimal stretch when stretched. I am 6ft 3" and weigh 230 pounds and my wife is 5ft 6" and weighs about 135 pounds and has no problem supporting our total weight. Swinging on a 40ft…

Very Surprised!: Equipment

WOW, this pulley was MUCH better than I thought for the cents I paid for it. I was expecting a rough gray rope, but it's actually very smooth and damn strong. It's about the size of my middle finger and is made out of some kind of tightly fused material that looks like fishing line; a mix of poly. As a teenager I lived in Oklahoma, and "lariat" (or rope used for cattle) was a legendary thing. The ropes were stretched and worked under heat and tension until they became stiff. A special clutch…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Speed of work
