Soft and smooth. Not as soft as the really expensive high-end pastels, but perfectly acceptable. Very good price for quite soft pastel colors.

I have parted with this set of soft pastel colours. The pastels are wrapped in a plastic sleeve that was almost impossible to remove even with my knife.

I love the softness and shine of these pastel colors. I've never used this brand before so don't know their durability but I'm impressed with how they feel on paper.

pastels are good, seem good quality, soft, easy to shade (4). Colors are saturated and relatively clear (+1). The container box is made of thin cardboard and is inconvenient for storage or transportation (-1). The box was dusty inside and out (-1).

I use pastel all the time and it's AMAZING. They don't shed as much pastel dust as other brands, they are very soft and blend well. There are good varieties of pastel brands, but I would rate them as high quality pastel brands. I've wanted to buy this brand for a long time and I'm glad I finally got it. Excellent quality.

REVISED VERIFICATION: 1 stick arrived intact. All others were broken into several pieces or shattered into pieces. Seller does not answer. The plastic packaging on each stick is a big problem, not a small annoyance. Wraps are EXTREMELY difficult to remove and can cause additional breakage/splintering.
