🖤 Koh-I-Noor Ultradraw Pigment-Based Ink - 0.75 Ounce Bottle - Black (3085F.BLA) Review

This is still the best ink for Rapidograph drawing pens. You can use other ink - fountain pen ink - to use the color, but when you're done, clean your pens. I love Koh-i-noor Ink Liners, but this ink works with any brand and style. It's waterproof, quick-drying and precise - everything you need in a drawing pen. Highly recommended.

I've been using this ink for years and swear by it. I illustrate all my published crime, non-fiction and now children's books with Ultra Draw. This ink allows you to keep your drawing underwater and it will not fade or wash off. I even painted with it on glass. This is the best ink for drawing with quills or mixing with liquid watercolors. It dries completely matt, waterproof and quite dark. I've only found darker blacks with some dry pigment pans and watercolor tubes, which are of course water soluble. This ink can also be used in technical pens and dries very quickly on paper. I ordered 4 bottles of the Ultradraw ink shown in the photo but received the universal ones (all 4 bottles). It was just a performance issue on BestSource OfficeSupplies side and I will most likely not be ordering anything for sale from them again.
