Unfortunately, this part is just as good as the original.

Really Kohler! So the spare part works perfectly; However, due to my fault, I ordered the wrong part (same design, just longer arm)! For a high quality toilet bowl, however, this plastic construction sucks! The first photo shows my 3 year old piece that broke right at the weakest point of this arm; exactly where this new part will fail in the next 3 years. It's just bad design that should have been stronger in that area (outdated design!). The new part I ordered is exactly the same as my…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Hard to say

Although there were no instructions on how to fit it I was able to do it. You only had to look inside the tank to understand it. I didn't need any tools, but there was no lock (screwed on to tighten from the inside) to act as a nut. to tighten it. So...I used an existing one repairing an old one that broke (18 years in this house; the plastic was worn). I think no harm, no foul. By the way, I'm 61 years old. an older woman who knows everything. If you are challenged by the unknown, ask a friend

Broke after only two years of light use.

After only 2 years of use in a family of 2 (adults) who adhere to the mantra "What is yellow, let it mature", the plastic lever broke in the hole where it attaches to the handle is. (we live in a mountain town where saving water is a must) so it has not been used or abused. The Kohler rep tried to tell me it needs to pull at an angle or the breech needs to be replaced. No, the product must be made of better materials. Before you give up and buy another one of those "throw aways". Plastic I…

Different levers fit different versions of Wellworth model with 4512 tank

I had to install two different swing arm options to find the one that would work best with my Kohler Wellworth model with 4512 tank and left conditioner fits. They differ in the angle of inclination of the hand. The one that fits the model I bought about 29 years ago is: GP30324-CP (CP stands for grip finish, here polished chrome. Other finishes are significantly more expensive). The built-in lever is shown in the first figure. Note that this listing doesn't say this applies to Wellworth, it…

TURN THE NUT COUNTER-CLOCKWISE TO TIGHTEN AND CLOCKWISE TO REMOVE, unlike regular nuts! towards normal nuts. The nut will never engage the bolt if you try to tighten it by turning it clockwise, the direction you turn a regular nut to tighten it. The nut must be turned counterclockwise to align with the bolt and tightened just enough to hold the entire assembly in place. I was boxing this build up to send it back to Revain for a refund when I decided to drop the 1 star rating and complained that

Fits 1988 Kohler Northline/Wellworth Tank #K-4519 Toilet Model #K-3516

Our home was built in 1988 with three Kohler Northline/Wellworth toilets. Tank #K-4519 Toilet model #K-3516 (see plumpingsupply(dot)com/kohler-toilets for part and model numbers) and that part number is listed as the current replacement (K-GP30324-CP) I have two in chrome and received one in K-GP30324-BRZ (in one of the bathrooms we changed the plumbing to bronze = BRZ). They fit perfectly (actually I have some extras for the future 😉). There are several holes on the shoulder for a chain clip…
