Good temp gauge - test, measure and verify

This is the exact temp strip for my Kombucha brewing, it's accurate enough to help you keep the brewing process at the ideal temperature. The adhesive side sticks well to the glass despite the fact that it has been washed many, many times and the adhesive does not rub off. This is a good tool for your cans and brewing process.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

It was not as described (areas) and in the photo. semi-permanent.

They were not as described and pictured, temp ranges from 46 to 82 degrees F / 8 to 28 degrees C. They said they went up to 90 degrees F! It looks like they just updated their image and description, but one area of their description is still wrong (lower area is 0 degrees) when it's actually 8 degrees C. Also, they should be constant so you can't remove them without spoiling the strip.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Love this timeline

I'm new to kombucha so I wanted to make sure I have everything I need to get things going in the right direction. I love this timeline. I allow myself to keep my drink at a constant temperature without guessing or disturbing my batch by inserting a temperature probe. I also have heating tape to keep my jugs warm as my house NEVER goes over 66 in the winter and 72 in the summer. With this time strip I can adjust the heat range accordingly to keep it constant at 80 degrees. The only downside is…

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Having troubles

Love it. in temperature gauge

I brew kombucha in 3 gallon jars on my kitchen counter. It's cold in my house so I keep a heating pad behind the glasses and a towel around the glasses to keep it warm. All jars work at different temperatures, so I change their order every few days. The thermal strip has a backing that can be peeled off and stuck to the jars, but I put the jars in the dishwasher to avoid damaging the strips, so I just use my fingers instead of sticking them to the jars. Apply the stripes to the glasses as I…
