Good measure for the job

Love it! This is my second Komelon at 25 feet. I lost my 1st. For me, Comelon is superior to a tape measure. It's easy to use, durable, extends a decent distance and stays straight. Comelons have great markings for my aged eyes. They are easy to carry around, attach to belt or "miscellaneous" tool pouches. If all of your measurements are 25 feet or less, I recommend a 25 foot Komelon. I have others including Stanely's "Fat Boy" but I'm always looking for my Komelon to use.

Broke after little use

Bought in September, hardly used and the return spring has already broken. I've contacted customer service, we'll see what they say, but for now I can't recommend this tape. Update: A few days after posting this review and contacting support, I was sent a replacement. So I decided to open the broken one and see what happened. can you say rubbish Catastrophic return spring failure. Addendum to my update: I was billed for a replacement! Revain, you gotta fix this! Garbage product and garbageโ€ฆ

Great tape for all purposes

I've used one of these for years, it was a replacement for the one I have as the tape wore off and the magnetic 'buttons' fell out when I reattached the tip (see . note below). The magnetic end has a good grip on ferrous (magnetic) metals, and the tape is stiff enough to stretch several feet for handheld measurements. with pliers or a vise, don't force it back into shape like I've tried, this will loosen the magnetic "knobs". This is for reference only, not a complaint about the quality of theโ€ฆ

Really good move. Can't beat the price

This one is sturdy. This is a great gauge, the magnets on the blade are amazing, the readings are SUPER easy to read and the rubber feet stay on the line I'm reading where other gauges I've used don't. But there is a small problem. I like to act quickly. missile withdrawal. But this one isn't. If I have more than 7ft it pulls back and since I'm working with 10ft of piping at a time this is kind of a problem. However, magnetic measures are expensive. I was looking for one that recedes faster and

strong magnets, numbered on both sides

*Update* Almost exactly a year later, the measuring tape fell apart. The spring stopped the tape measure from retracting and didn't return, it broke. after a few months it wasn't that strong anymore. When I first got it I was able to pull it out 15 feet before it sags and bends, but after a few months it started to weaken. he would not have gone more than three or four feet before he fell. With that in mind, I just bought a new one. The magnets are very strong and stick to the end of the tapeโ€ฆ

Great tape with a latch (or no)

I've just started a new framing project for my house and based on the reviews I decided to purchase this tape. My old cassette was Stanley. Not a bad tape, but it did have some annoying qualities and was badly beaten up. So I picked this one up and took it to work. The first thing I noticed was that it feels good in the hand. I have big hands and this tape feels durable. Second, I removed the stand, I stretched the strap 6 feet before it came loose and flexed. Good. On top of that, the numbersโ€ฆ
