I was very happy to give it something more comfortable to wear than the hard plastic cone. However, within 5 minutes he bypassed it and licked the post-neuter wound. For that purpose it was a waste of money. It might work if the wound was somewhere else, but I wouldn't recommend spaying or neutering.

I bought this for my 60lb boxer puppy. I bought size XL so it doesn't touch its seams, it's very flexible! I tried training with a traditional plastic e-collar but my dog freaked out so I took a chance and tried this option. So far so good, my pup takes it better than a cone! It is very easy to inflate and put on and take off. I definitely recommend this look. My pup even uses it as a pillow when he lies down and rests.

This E-Kong Cone worked very well. Our poor dog didn't like it but he wasn't afraid of it and tolerated it well. We only used it when we couldn't keep an eye on it after surgery. He is a large dog (about 75#) and the surgery was performed high up on the back of the inner thigh near the groin. This cone easily stopped him from falling to that location.
