I don't like this leather strap. The quality is good but the color is more red than wine. I kept it anyway because I'm sure I can use it for something in the future.

I bought it for decoration. Nice but with a strong smell of mold and fungi. It hangs unrolled in front of my house in New Mexico, and when I walk past it from the OUTSIDE a few days later, I can still smell the mold. I can't make decorations with it!

Due to its length, there are seams which can reduce its strength over time. If you buy this expecting it to smell like quality leather you will be disappointed. I don't know if it's the tanning method or poor storage, but this stuff stinks so much like military leftovers that I had to take it out of the house and put it in the barn, hoping the smell will dissipate before I use it have. But I will use it for its thickness and pliability. Just not until the smell is gone. I do not know the origin
