I should have read the reviews. It's not silicone. They smell strongly of glue. They are petroleum products. I poured water into it and left it on the table for an hour, and then the oil swirled around as a material on the water. It's definitely not food. Stay away.

The size of the cubes is great! (I have a square cube shape.) HOWEVER, getting it out of shape is almost impossible. Once full, the mold won't rotate or move, and all you have to do is dip it under warm water to release the cubes, and then take them out one by one. Too long trying to find an easier way. It's too tedious and time consuming. I would not recommend them at all and I'm sorry I spent so much money. Strongly disappointed.

I fill a fourth to freeze cold coffee cubes. I then add these cubes to my daily cup of iced coffee so I can keep them cold without diluting them.
