Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

The eternal problem of budget devices, either headphones or microphone . Here the quality is average, quite acceptable. For 2030 in my opinion a good solution. Before buying them, I studied reviews of about 20 budget models up to 4000. But without fanaticism. Who needs to record their voice or listen to music in perfect quality, this option, of course, will not work. For such purposes, equipment is purchased whose cost starts from 30 thousand. For example, I have a condenser microphone for 12…

Pros
  • Not a high price (2030), while the quality of the microphone and headphones is good. They sit comfortably on the head, the ears do not press, there is an adjustment for the size of the head. I was also looking for a headset with USB, so as not to bother with the quality of the sound card.
Cons
  • The plastic of the headphones is quite weak, so you need to be very careful with them. If this is not about you, then think very carefully before taking these headphones. Otherwise, they won't last long. Although I treated them carefully and they look like new ones, and I used them once every couple of weeks, but they lived only 7 months, then the sound deteriorated, a hum appeared. And the guarantee, as luck would have it, is 6 months (I took it in e2e4).

I bought it for Dragon Dictate 4 for Mac. I've bought significantly more expensive headphones with a mic from BestBuy and while I was assured the more expensive ones would work, they didn't work at all. Koss - much cheaper - worked immediately. Music was playing on my computer when I first plugged Koss headphones into my computer. I wasn't thinking about music when I put it on - and my first reaction was - wow - the music is really loud and clear. Although I didn't buy them for the sound, I was

Very happy with these

Works really well in all video conferencing modes I've used on my laptops and desktops I've used it with (Teams, Zoom, Skype, Webex, .). The sound quality in the headphones is excellent, as is the microphone. With the 2.5mm jack version, my Dell dock would sometimes cause confusion with Windows 10 audio or when trying to select speakers or headphones. Not so with this USB version. And the foam earcups that don't cover my ears mean I can hear what's going on around me, like the phone is ringing…

Pros
  • Foam Ear Pads
Cons
  • Long Standby

Rosetta Stone Communications Headset

So Rosetta Stone had a great deal. You know, so you just can't get past us. Big. So you register and log in. You thought speakers and your Macbook were up to the task. Well, in a pinch they'll do, but that's called a slum. You really need a communication headset. So you don't want to spend a lot of money because you've already paid a lot of money for a Rosetta Stone subscription. Can you still get a quality pair of communication headsets? Yes. Yes you can. You have two choices. Logitech model…

Pros
  • Foam ear pads for open, audible sound
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for the elderly

This headset just works

Out of desperation I bought my first Koss Communications USB headset with microphone (CS100-USB). I have a wonderful computer that my brother bought for me when my previous one broke down a few years ago. The only problem with this computer is that it came with a terrible sound system and couldn't expand it in any way. This is a work computer, but thanks to its high processing power and large memory, it is perfect as a mid-range gaming computer. In order to use it the way I wanted, I had to…

Pros
  • USB connector
Cons
  • Big and chunky

A normal product, but they wanted more for the money.

Causes controversy, with a decent quality of speakers and a microphone, for some reason an unsuccessful headband, did not expect this from Koss. Packed in an opening cardboard box, I advise you to measure before buying, if the seller allows. I also use Sennheiser PC 8 USB, in the same price category, it has less bass, but the headband is more comfortable and does not press on the ears at all and the microphone drops below the mouth if necessary, you can read my review about it in its section.

Pros
  • Koss CS100 USB. Sound quality. The microphone is of high quality, adjustable in height, you can bend closer or further from the mouth. Wire to one ear, thick, durable, not tangled. There are no adjustments and switches on the wire, there is nothing to break. Compatible with WIN7 without problems.
Cons
  • The headband makes me feel cheap - on the one hand, the upper part is a bit of pressure on my head, even though I have a small head size. When adjusting the size it is not fixed, there are no clicks, it just slides. The ear pads are quite decent pressure on the ears, not very comfortable. When adjusting the microphone in height, it does not fall below the mouth, but rises up at least vertically.
