KOWOOD Tongue Groove Pieces Milling Review

I'm not a professional carpenter. I needed a set of router bits for occasional use. These fit the bill perfectly for me. They look decent, are fairly accurate and come in a nice case. I don't know if I would have chosen them if I had been using the router a lot, but they're fine for casual home use.

These burrs are quite sharp and hold their edge. They cut very accurately and the boards fit together well. I bought these items to make a table, these cutters are always strong, no extra vibration. These are high quality cutters and would be a great addition to my tool box. I just bought my routers and I really want to use them and create amazingly beautiful things.

Well they are very good. At this price you get what you pay for and they work. Remember that the following will happen to your bits: 1-Blue color will begin to peel after 2-3 cuts 2-Steel shanks tend to ignite a dark color after 10-15 cuts. 3-You're always snapping plywood and often splitting hardwood unless you work VERY slowly. Given the above, they get the job done for a beginner, not a pro.

I like this set very much. Worked very well on soft pine. My only issue is that one bearing exploded after 5 minutes of use. Thank goodness a lot of bits come with bearings so I just replaced them. This left me a little apprehensive when using bits with bearings afterwards. I was able to order more from Amazon so it wasn't the end of the world. At thirty bucks I would advise anyone to buy them but be warned the bearings are questionable.

I've recently started carpentry and was looking for a cheap kit with the most common tools I could possibly need. Then I found this one. These bits are great for people like me who are just getting into woodworking or for those who want to get some extra bits at a good price, this is a great option. The cost is also quite high for the number of bits. They might not be top-notch, but this kit gives you an idea of which beats you like the most, so you don't have to spend big bucks to buy the best

I have a new plunge router, no router bits included. As I build cabinets for my cabin for a few clients I wanted to get an inexpensive entry level bit set with the intention of investing in more expensive 1/2" bits in the future. So far I've used these bits to plunge cut some signs and used to mill down some board edges to try out. They worked well. This could be a good starter cookie cutter set. Comes with a good set of bits. The bits in this set appear to be sharp, but I haven't tried them on wood yet. Now for the bad news. Four bits with larger bearings have significant bearing play. One of them is so bad that I'm afraid to use it because it seems like it's falling apart with the speed. Not very good. We bought these simply because we wanted to try out a set to try out different bit shapes before investing individually in really good bits, which I think is a good technical solution. But these special bits are really low quality. If you are serious about using a router and want to do the projects you want, don't invest in cheap bits! The cost of quality isn't just that. I thought I had a set of 1/4" shank bits to stow in my cordless router bag so I could have all the tools I needed for the job need floor coverings. and editing. I bought this set. What mistake. While straight cut bits are fine. Nothing like Whiteside or even Freud, that's what I was expecting. Use it once, maybe a few times, and replace with a better quality bit. OK ?
