Description of πŸ”© KREG SDK C2SS 700: 2 Inch Coarse Stainless Steel Screws for Ultimate Strength and Durability

700 Screws. Stainless Steel for the highest possible rust and corrosion resistance. Flat bottom head creates secure hold, won't split the workpiece. Self-Tapping tip drills a hole while it's driven. KTX Square Drive provides incredible cam-out resistance, less spinning, more driving.

Good quality at a reasonable price

Really nicely made precise screws, I haven't had any issues with the cam or the snap but I'm used to working with stainless fasteners and I know they are soft , and I use a clutch and I'm sure to sink well. I wish there was a longer version because where I live we only have very soft, fast growing log pines and the length isn't long enough to make a good purchase.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not trendy

Useless rubbish, waste of good money

Unusable. These screws were backed out, removing the head of every fourth screw, even with pre-drilling. Then some morning dew and my wooden floorboards are oxidized! My butt is made of stainless steel. Waste of money, I'll be back. I had to attach the first edge of the decking board with end screws, but I did the same to the edge of the screwed board. So angry. The Kreg Jig is useless now that it uses these patented screws and bits. Get a camouflage system, don't bother with it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

It is best to use a cordless torque wrench so that you don't cut your heads off with these screws. A pilot hole is required. Set a low torque when screwing. Too bad I didn't dip every screw in dish soap as a lubricant. This would prevent multiple screw heads from being stripped. These screws use a patented Kreg screwdriver. It's a square bit but with curved sides like a torx bit. The Kreg Chisel is only available in one length, 6 inches long. For narrow gaps, a regular #1 square cutter can be…

  • cool product
