The helmet causes pain from minimal padding. The pads are made from very thin material with a single stitch. The plastic wrist protector is simply inserted into a thin piece of leather. Sent back as the whole set is too small for an average height adult. Very cheap quality.

I like the look of the bars and they feel good. The straps are not of very good quality so don't expect a snug fit. I mostly use wrist guards when I skateboard. I ride a skateboard that isn't very flashy or aggressive. Mostly lots of curves and carving. Wrist guards came loose at the seams after the 3rd use. My falls were minimal.

I've survived some pretty hard falls with these pads and gotten out completely unscathed. One day I fell on the grass and my knee went about 3 inches into the ground and I didn't even feel it. Would buy again. No regret. Fits well and you can either thread your legs and arms through the elastic alone or use the straps.

I would give 0 stars if possible. The pads and helmet are very cheap. Don't waste money on them. The helmet has almost no padding and the pads are very thin. I only fell once and my wrist guards are already broken. I think they actually cause more injuries in a fall.
