Description of High-Performance KSEIBI 271075 Engineers Machinist Blacksmith Tool: A Robust Solution for Precision Metalworking

The hammer is made of high-carbon steel with heat treatment, high hardness, good toughness and durable. High-grade wood handle provide superior tolerance and breaking stress for adverse environmental conditions. With glue at the joint between metal and handle, it's safe and will not drop. Cross-peen hammer having one round face and one wedge-peen face for double use. Ideal for metal fabrication, especially when working with angled sheet metal.

A good hammer is the best in technology. Hammers

Nice little hammer. My only complaint is how the handle was wedged and covered in epoxy. While working, he immediately fell ill. I was able to pull the handle and redo the wedge and now it works great.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

Good hammer for forging

This hammer suits me perfectly. Determined to become a blacksmith. I have a similar hammer but was recommended a 2lb hammer. This one worked great for what I needed it for, I will continue to use it as I take more smithing lessons.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Update available

The head is almost not attached.

The head appears to be fine, the handle appears to be pine and is not secured with a wedge. Epoxy on the grip tip but doesn't hold at all. The one I had got its head blown off on the second hit. If you buy this, get the right grip and wedges to match.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Something else

If you're looking for a great hammer, this isn't it.

The hammer head is excellent on this hammer hence the handle only 3 stars, after about 10 hits on the soft orange metal the handle broke at the end furthest from the head (which makes no sense to me). The hammer is still workable but it also dangles from the handle itself, the epoxy they put on it just makes it harder to handle again. will be good for many years. Just expect to have to work on it.

Pros
  • The hammer is made of carbon steel with heat treatment, high hardness, good toughness and durability.
Cons
  • don't know

quality control required.

As mentioned many times in other reviews, the quality is not very good. Out of the box the head was loose and with a few test presses I was able to completely remove the head. "Epoxy" was poured in where the handle didn't sit properly. I removed the epoxy and cut the handle slightly shorter to fit the hole size better. After reinstalling the head I also installed the correct wedge and now it seems to be tight. The edges also need cleaning, but quite a large hammer for pulling thin metal. Let's…

Pros
  • High quality wooden handle offers excellent weather resistance and tear resistance.
Cons
  • Not sure

Ideal for multiple projects

I can say that I bought it with the great intention of using it for a long time. Oh I was so naive. I brought this into my beginner blacksmithing classes thinking it would be a good deal. It quickly became apparent that the edges are so serrated that they leave marks in your material you are working with, the curvature of the handle borders on acceptable, and the small gaps left after assembly at the factory are of poor quality - the perfect fit is held together by something - some glue. If…

Pros
  • Crosshead hammer with a round and a wedge for dual use.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
