Description of 🔧 KSP Universal Coil Spring Compressor Tools: Heavy Duty Macpherson Strut Spring Hook Clamps (2PCS) - 5/8"-11 Thread, Black, with 13/16in Socket & 1/2in Drive Wrench

【Installation Assistant】 KSP coil spring compressor can make your installation easier and more quickly.Just for repairs on bent struts, strut tubes, and damaged pieces; Easy and super-fast setup; Attach the brackets completely onto the spring, tighten, and remove the strut. 【Important Note】1.Recommend to use with a 21mm (13/16") hexagon socket wrench or 1/2" square drive ratchet wrench.By alternately tightening each socket wrench 3 or 4 turns, compressed the spring evenly and ensure the tool not slip or move around on the coils. 2.I would recommend putting an anti seize on the threads before you use these, at the very least a good quality grease which can let your installation smoother. 3.Try to avoid using an air tool or impact wrench, improper use may cause damage. 【Purchase Confirm】This is a generally tool which can use on lots of vehicle. But it still have the size range, please check it carefully before purchse.(1)Max spring diameter:5/8";(2) Max Compressible Spring Length: 10" (3)Max Strut Spring Outside Diameter: 6". 【Why Choose KSP】The wide hook and bolts made from 40cr steel, more durable and longer service life;2)Closed with the built-in detent pins, lock the coil spring in place for safer spring compression(3)Compare to the normal thread, the tool use the ACME thread rod, stronger and not easy to move. 【After service】We promised 1 Year warranty, unconditional return within 1 month. If you are uncertain of any problems, please contact us instead of comments.

Terrible Quality, Avoid This Junk!

This is one of the worst Automotive Tools & Equipment that I have used. My analysis of this product showed that it is poorly made and extremely frustrating to work with. The parts don't fit together properly and the instructions are difficult to follow. The only positive aspect of this product is that it is cheap, but even that is not worth the hassle.

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Poor quality, difficult to use

Nice feature for occasional use!

Direct connection with 1/2 square is ideal for gaps with springs. Well lubricated, my Makita impact wrench had no problems, although not recommended. For the price they are perfect for casual use.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • I say nothing

DO NOT expect the KSP PERFORMANCE logo on the case. It's not really a big deal but I paid more thinking I was getting a better product. Same china junk as "SCITOO 2-Piece Macpherson Strut Spring Compressor, 13/16" Base, 1/2" Drive" for $17.00 less. I hope the tool holds because I plan to use my 3/8" air blast as shown in the picture. how to use photos UPDATE Since I wrote this review they have removed the image showing the 3/8 inch airflow used with this tool. I haven't used it yet but I feel…

Pros
  • Suspension tools
Cons
  • Not everything fits
