These scales lack accuracy when working in grams. If more weight is added, it just doesn't register. It also turns off very quickly. Buy it if you need more frustration in life.

Great scale BUT throw away the cheap batteries that came with it. Mine was leaking and I found the leak early. Just throw away ultra-cheap batteries and buy new ones. Or you can use regular batteries.

Works as described. "Calibrated" with 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, 5, 2 and 1g weights and reads down to 0.1g (e.g. 100 and 2g weights show 100.0 and 2.0g ) Supplied with batteries, USB charging cable and two plastic shells Double as protectors.Very nice!

I bought this scale based on the reviews here. It didn't change weight very well when material was added or removed. I had to send it back immediately but I worked with it. It then immediately started clipping, so I didn't have time to play with adding and removing material. It doesn't even work well enough to weigh plant nutrients.

When I slowly add weight (like putting parsley on the scale) the scale doesn't seem to register. It took a long time to get it down to 0.3g so I removed all the parsley and it went down to -1.6g, I weighed it and it was 1.9g (when I applied everything quickly) . Then I tried applying it a little and the same, registered as 0.5g. It is almost impossible to measure herbs or spices precisely. Accurate enough for large quantities like sauces, but not for most of the scales I use.

I tested this KUBEI scale alongside other scales. A digital scale ($415) and an analytical scale (a value of $1430). More than satisfied with the result. These scales look good and work great. Recommend. The only downside is that I bought the scale with a maximum weight of 3kg and the packaging doesn't state the maximum capacity for this particular device. The box had all the flags to identify the device inside the box. But none of them were marked. So it's not clear if I got what I paid for.

Excellent scale. I used it for about a year to measure coffee beans and then filled it with water using a French press. The 0.1 gram accuracy proved more useful than I expected. The battery lasted a long time between charges. Tara always worked without fuss. The small size is very useful for my purposes. I use this very inexpensive scale in addition to my reloading gear. I've found many uses for it, but mostly I use it for very quick measurements of a large number of materials, like sorting brass by weight or sorting cast bullets for rejects. This was one of the few scales I weighed in grains and I have found them accurate and consistent enough for what I do with them.
