This funnel is very impressive. The craftsmanship is fantastic. It was made in Germany and is reminiscent of what was once made in the USA. The funnel even has a little strainer in the neck to give things a final boost on the way to the bottles. It's also a great canning tool. Very well made, easy to use and clean. I highly recommend this very good funnel.

I give this product two stars because the funnel part works well. Unfortunately, if you want to strain something while using it, you'll have to look elsewhere. No matter how slowly I pour, the little strainer won't stay in place. Phenomenal product! Love from first use! I use it to filter oil from my fryer and it filters 98% or more of contaminants and takes less than a minute to filter over 2/3 gallons of oil. The wide spout hits the butt and the mesh liner is thinner than I expected, allowing all but a few grains of fried fine flour or cornstarch to filter out if used as a coating. I used to cook my own lard and needed a metal or high-temperature funnel to pour it from a saucepan into a glass jar. I saw that for a few bucks I could get more cake pro with filter so I decided to give it a try. The mesh openings in the filter are small and don't look as small as a metal coffee filter, but the grease comes out just as clean, so it seems to be doing its job well.
