Good for Sifting Flour

Baking gluten-free and ketogenic foods is work, and part of that work involves using a lot of dry ingredients that need to be sifted. Everything must be sifted. I feel like I spend my life sifting dry ingredients together. All almond flour (due to its fat content) needs to be sifted, and then the coconut flour and stevia are sifted. Very good colander, fine colander

This is an excellent colander with a good fine mesh. There are a few things that I like about it: The build quality of the filter is very good. The rubberized black handle is comfortable to use. The mesh is tucked in very neatly around the edges to create a mesh - the screen has a good depth - this is very important as we have seen screens that are not that deep. The lack of depth filters is usually a problem as material spills out of the filter, so this is definitely an important feature. The…

Really big, decent quality and fine mesh

I ordered a large size and it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The colander itself is nearly 8 inches in diameter, 2.75 inches deep, and the handle is about 7 inches long. However, it is quite robust and well made. whatever you want to strain over the pot, except maybe brewing tea. Smaller loose tea leaves can slip through the sieve. Haven't used this filter yet as I haven't had time to wash it but judging by the look and feel of this filter compared to the filters I have used before it should work fine for my needs. I wanted it primarily for sifting ingredients for small homemade bakes and maybe the occasional straining of a small batch of pasta. This is a beautifully made large strainer. Conclusion of my evaluation: it works, the processing quality is good. I thought the seller's photos of the item gave me a good idea of what the item would look like and how it was constructed.
