This is an excellent colander with a good fine mesh. There are a few things that I like about it: The build quality of the filter is very good. The rubberized black handle is comfortable to use. The mesh is tucked in very neatly around the edges to create a mesh - the screen has a good depth - this is very important as we have seen screens that are not that deep. The lack of depth filters is usually a problem as material spills out of the filter, so this is definitely an important feature. The mesh is very good for this filter. We usually drink tea by boiling tea leaves, so it is very beneficial to strain the boiled tea leaves. It doesn't leave little black particles or anything like that behind. Although the screen is lightweight, it somehow feels premium and durable. So overall a good filter and very useful. It certainly looks like it's going to take a very long time.
