Fire up the Festivities with Kurt Adler's 10-Light Fire Truck Light Set Review

Doesn't really look like a garland, not very bright and red scares little kids. The cable is quite stiff and doesn't bend well. It's also heavier and not as easy to hang as traditional fasteners.

I bought the lamps for my mother-in-law to give to my grandson who just joined the city fire department. When she received the lights she was disappointed because when they were on they were orange and not red as she expected. Tried to return but no return! for your information

First I had to place an order twice because the first set never showed up. My son was patiently waiting for these lights to come on and when they FINALLY came on they didn't work. I tried four different sockets, looked at all the bulbs and NOTHING! Now I have a heartbroken baby and I lost 30 bucks.

My son loves the light. Yes, truck parts are not too big. However, since lights are hung for decoration, that doesn't mean you're really getting close-up shots (unless you're dusting). From a short distance they look like very decent fire engines. Ours were also red, not orange. I find the price a bit high for the quality of the print (the plastic is strong enough) but considering how happy it makes a boy every night I would buy them again.

LOVE lamps. They're cute, big enough to be a charming addition to a firefighter-themed room, but dim enough to be used as a night light. However, they only worked after 3 months of use. It's not like the lightbulbs started burning out. The whole string just stopped working. We love fire truck lights and we're just going to remove them from this thread and set them to a more reliable one, but it's frustrating that we have to do this after such a short time.
