Solid metal, chrome finish looks and feels great!

Fastest and easiest installation of any part I've installed on my Shadow. Solid metal, chrome finish looks great! The wide style is much more comfortable than the standard. A little pricey for two bent pieces of metal but you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

The only plus of these levers is that they are wider.

The only advantage of these levers is that they are wider than the standard. They're also shorter, buy about an inch, which is fine, but you should know that. I will replace the stock levers in the last riding season. The chrome paint/finish has already peeled off a bit. I really expected them to last much longer than a season of riding before this started. The bike is never in the elements. Just very disappointed with the levers.

They look great and true to size.

It took me about 3 minutes to install these arms on my 2010 Honda Fury. They look fantastic but seem about an inch shorter than my stock levers. There's nothing wrong with that, but it does make me reach for the lever and around town my hand quickly starts to cramp. When I hold the clutch, my pinky is right on the ball at the end of the lever. So I either have to wrap my pinky around the ball or push his grip up and then deal with the ball pressing on my knuckle. Either way, it's a bit…

I like the easy access.

I just installed them 01/09/16 I read the reviews, this is the second pair I've bought, I had no problems with the first pair, they been on a honda shadow 1995 vt 1100 cc wore them for 2 years so i bought them they seem to scratch easily but what chrome doesn't do today, chrome plating processes aren't what they used to be when they peel off it is maybe not quite chromed. But chrome spray paint so they break or scratch easily, all I know is they are comfortable, you don't have to stick your…

good but too short at Motorrad & Powersports

I like the look of these levers. They are wider than the stock levers on my 2012 Shadow Areo. They are about 1 inch shorter, it would be better if they were a bit longer. If you have large hands, you may not be able to get all four fingers on the lever. But they work well for my arthritic hands. I've been using them for about a week. They really are too short to ride with gloves in cold weather. I can only touch the clutch lever with three fingers and my little finger doesn't have enough space.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Wide Kuryakyn Levers

These levers are great and comfortable enough. I love these levers and they look great. They feel solid and not cheap like some of the "white metal" models you can get. This is actually, as they say, my second set. I have purchased Kuryakyn for my chrome needs on my 2004 Saber and they have always impressed me. However, on the last set I had, the chrome started to peel and flake off. It looked terrible. I contacted the company and they said they would give me a discount on a new set and free…

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Great upgrade for little money

I have a 2009 Shadow Spirit VT750C2 (shaft drive model) and the levers fit perfectly. You can knock the levers out if you have a medium-length half-width flat-head screwdriver, a 10mm wrench, and basic tool skills. It took me about 7 minutes for both. The only possible problem is the clutch cable and how everything fits together. Watch it being disassembled and you will see it being assembled. Wow, big difference in feeling. The new levers were the same length as the factory levers. They look…
