Love that little ridge!

Decided to try my hand at carving with a dremel instead of hand tools. This was the first time I carved this way. The photos show that my first part is 95% complete with this cutter.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Modern

Does what is expected

Someone said you have to be careful because he can get very aggressive. It was on point. It really clears the forest. Much quicker than I expected. Most drills burn more than they cut. This cleans wood like oil.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Crumpled

THAT'S CRAZY! suitable for cutting burrs

Okay, not quite crazy. but here's what it does. You stick it in your dremel, touch it on a tree and it shaves the tree off! But it's actually a great drill, and at slower speeds you get a clean look to your carving, as if you carved something by hand.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Essential for removing heavy wood when carving.

This is an easy to use carving knife. I was afraid that he would cling to a tree and pull badly, but this is not the case at all. It is basically as easy to use as any fine-grain drill.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as other cutters

Avoid hard surfaces.

Flame Drill has excellent cutting ability. However, do not drop this burr on a hard surface. I did and destroyed one side of its tip. It still cuts, but not like this. Instead of buying a different brand of millstones, I mopped the floor around the work area and bought a second one. I believe your product is the best aggressive cutter available today. Carry on in the same spirit.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Kutzall for not having time for Burrs trash

I really like Kutzall products. They don't harden and just take a long time. I have a heavy hand when I carve and they still hold up. They still cut like new. However, I ordered directly from them and their delivery is ssssssllllllooooowwww! Better order from Revane. Both sides are about the same price.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Wood cuts like butter

At first glance, the thing looks like a miniature medieval torture device. Got this as a gift for someone else to use on a micro Dremel 8050n. At top speed it cuts through wood like butter. I've only seen it work on wood, but I think it's just as effective on other materials of similar hardness. It removes a lot more material faster than any of the simpler tools that come with the Dremel.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not everything fits

lasted about 90 seconds.

I really love Kutzall products and have purchased several types of their drills, but this particular drill took about 90 seconds to carve wood spirit into pine. If you're a power cutter like me, you know how a flame ridge can jump if you go too deep on the first pass (everyone does), well I went too deep and it jumped up and deformed the shaft making it completely useless became . . I even carefully straightened where it was bent and made sure it was seated properly in the chuck, but guess…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negative impression
