Linkage and motor worked great however a cable should have been offered as an option. I had to research it online and order it separately to complete the project.

Perfect fit for Kwikee motor 1101428. There are no parts for 902806000 in the reference table, only for 9000 and newer. I decided to order this pair and install them anyway, the step fits my 2003 stepper system perfectly. Date of manufacture 12/16/03.

I had to replace the original unit but hired someone to do the job. Since the work took less than an hour and the complexity of the installation was not discussed. I think it was good. The end result is that the electric stand he maintains on the RV now works great! I am happy with this purchase.

I liked what I got. That's exactly what I took. You have to be handy to put it all together. The reason the mechanism fails is because you're not keeping everything lubricated and so it's harder to slide the ladder in and out. Invest in a $7 can of lube.

Lever fits exactly. Installation was difficult because the pin that connects the lever to the step was rusted. The pin is not part of the included Lippert linkage but must be removed for full installation. It didn't move and had to be put down in 3 places. There isn't much room to maneuver the saw. I replaced the pin with a nut and bolt.

"My Model 28 Qwikee Steps made a loud bang while retracting, causing the engine to shut off. That part worked, and now the ladder extends and retracts silently. The old gear assembly had a gear with missing teeth that made a loud banging/clicking noise. The longest phase of the installation was pulling out the cotter pin and pin.
